Dr. John Currid, Senior Pastor

Dr. John Currid is the Senior Pastor of Ballantyne Presbyterian Church.

Dr. Currid received his doctorate from the University of Chicago, and has over twenty years of teaching experience, his last post being Reformed Theological Seminary's campus in Jackson, MS. He moved to Charlotte in 2007 to teach in the Old Testament department at Reformed Theological Seminary's Charlotte campus. Dr. Currid has served in the Presbyterian Church America as an ordained minister prior to coming to Ballantyne, and has a loving commitment to the local church.

John is the father of two grown children, and his wife Nancy is also an active member of the BPC family.
