Ballantyne Presbyterian ministers first to the community where God has placed us, and then to the entire world. We are continually seeking to provide for the spiritual needs of our members and also for guests; namely, the need of the knowledge of God's law and gospel.  The clear emphasis of our church's understanding of its calling to serve is through the preaching of God's word, the sacraments, and prayer.  Nevertheless we acknowledge that when the word is properly preached and received with joy, when the sacraments are received in humble faith, and when prayer is offered with reverence and expectation, with the Holy Spirit's blessing these will create a church body that is enlivened to serve God and other people.
